Be wary of any emails received apparently from HMRC. Fraudsters are once again targeting businesses and individuals who are expecting to receive a tax refund. The scam is widespread and with many businesses receiving refunds due to poor recent trading conditions, extra vigilance is required.

HMRC will not contact you by email in this way, therefore please do not respond to any emails purporting to be from HMRC. We would appreciate reports of any suspect emails.
